  • The Friends of the Pittsford Library’s sorting room is located OPPOSITE the MAIN entrance to the Pittsford Community Library, located at 24 State Street, Pittsford, NY

    • HARD COVER & PAPERBACK BOOKS,

    • POSTCARDS,

    • 2021-23 COMPUTER MANUALS (Macs, Windows)

    We DO NOT Accept::

    • ENCYCLOPEDIAS,

    • DICTIONARIES,

    • MAGAZINES,

    • MAPS,

    • HARLEQUIN ROMANCE ,

    • READERS DIGEST CONDENSED BOOKS,

    • TIME LIFE BOOKS SETS,

    • VHS and CASSETTES,

    • GARAGE OR LIBRARY SALE DISCARDS,

    • CATALOGS.

  • The Friends of the Pittsford Library Volunteers accept books via the in the Drop Box in the Hallway and in Person: MONDAY thru FRIDAY from 9 AM - 11 AM.

    For our volunteers to be able work effectively, it is best to schedule large donations in advance. Contact Margaret Schenkel 585-727-2895.

    Please do not leave boxes or bags of books in the hallway.

    For assistance when bringing donations during the evening or on weekends we suggest that you ask library staff.

  • Your donations help enrich your library experience. The money from our book sales provide funds for new library materials and programs.
